Remember Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy laid off 400 FAA employees including some air traffic controllers.
Now FAA ordered airlines to cut flights by 10% at 40 major airports because the prolonged government shutdown leaving air traffic controllers overworked, unpaid, and short-staffed.
