You may be able to get a further month of meds before the review.

I agree entirely. Availability of meds, which are on repeat prescription, can be so difficult at times.

Your kid knows you care, even if you can’t sit by their bedside.
January 9, 2026 at 10:49 AM
It either works perfectly or it is a total farce, which just adds to the stress and upset.
January 9, 2026 at 10:47 AM
I couldn’t agree more.
January 9, 2026 at 10:44 AM
Your kid will know that you are thinking about her and that you are there for them.
January 9, 2026 at 10:43 AM
Keep hydrated and try not to overdo it.
January 9, 2026 at 10:41 AM
Sounds like you are having a rough time. Sending hugs.
January 8, 2026 at 8:39 PM
I hope all goes well, it’s a worrying time for you. Sending hugs.
January 7, 2026 at 8:51 PM
It will be so exciting when it is delivered and you have it back and it is your’s.
January 7, 2026 at 8:49 PM
Your dad sounds amazing.
January 7, 2026 at 8:46 PM
That’s good. I’ve moved and changed GP, the 1st prescription the new GP issued is missing all sorts of meds. Fortunately I had an old prescription I could take to the chemist.

I had an adjustable bed for my mum. It came in pieces and was assembled in the room.
January 7, 2026 at 6:47 PM
I’m so sorry. The pharmacist should be able to sort out your prescription but I know it is extra stress.
January 6, 2026 at 10:54 PM
I had a father who never changed the bed sheets or indeed never did anything in the house and a husband who rarely did anything like that. The husband never emptied the bin on the vacuum cleaner, so it was always getting clogged up and I had to take it apart to get it going again!

I would guess that he thought the house would be warmer than it is, but this is a guess.

Well trained
January 5, 2026 at 5:31 PM
I hope they come out quickly for you. It must be feeling very cold.
January 5, 2026 at 9:25 AM
You will get there.
January 5, 2026 at 9:22 AM
Yes, a timer would be most helpful on an electric blanket. Last night I kept it on 1 and it was perfect.
January 5, 2026 at 9:20 AM
It must be frustrating that you can’t go straight onto the therapeutic dose but you will soon be on that dose so hand in in there.
January 5, 2026 at 9:17 AM
The PIP is so unfair when they had said it was long-term. Have they no compassion sending them out during the holiday period?
January 4, 2026 at 7:06 PM
😂
January 4, 2026 at 7:04 PM
I kept the electric blanket on its lowest setting and that kept me warm enough. Previous night I had accidentally left it on the highest setting and I’d woken at 1am all out of sorts.
