The two manuscripts Zürich, Zentralbibliothek, Rh. 73 (Adamnan, De locis sanctis) and St. Gall, Stibi, Cod. Sang. 1092 (Plan of St. Gall), displayed in the mirador viewer, show the benefits of IIIF viewers, for example for the comparison of hands.

In the penultimate session of our class on digital methods for Medieval Studies we looked at the possibilities of IIIF today.
