This was not the gut punch I thought it would be. This was a delusional mother who could not come to terms with what her son had done and I found it hard to feel anything for her. The twist at the end was unrealistic and fell flat. ⭐️⭐️ 💙📚

Current read. A lot of nostalgia for an Xennial like me - the MC graduates high school the same year I did. Mentions of Columbine, Y2K, and 9/11 along with other defining moments of that time period. I also really appreciate an author who can mix horror with humor. Can’t wait to see how it ends 💙📚
