they don’t! here in america all pet store ferrets are descented. whether or not that it’s ethical is a separate thing entirely (i’m against descenting), but such as they are they have no noticeable odor.

nope! really smells no different than having a cat or two. as long as their litter is regularly removed there’s no noticeable smell.
