Oh yeah. I think we fought on Talishar, I was learning Blaze then. I noticed you AB'd a few times with cards thst would have converted for higher on offense. Giving the Blaze time to chip you down will make late game a nightmare~

If you get your Arc Lightning early along side a full grip of 4 go agains, Blaze is toast. Well, even without the Arcs, as long as you're playing your whole hand out for 4 value per card, they just die. Blaze players on the Purple Discord seem to be really afraid of Auroras for thst reason.

Oh yeah, the other misplay. On the turn I pitched blue Bertha to recharge, I shoulda pitched Firewall instead. Bertha pitches to Maxx. The Firewall got stuck in my hand and got pitched the next turn instead, whoops.

The reason why I always say "get lucky" when I play Maxx is because sometimes, you just never see Construct Nitro Mechanoid, and you just die. LSS talks about heroes embarking on a quest and getting rewarded. With Maxx, sometimes the quest is an illusion. #fabtcg

I got pretty lucky seeing Mech when I did. Made the game very straightforward. My opponent made some choices that made it easy to predict the total value of their turns, so I just needed to block enough while ensuring I exceeded theirs. They may have over-teched as well.

On the turn I played 2 Gas Ups and arsenal'd Recharge: I knew that my deck didn't have any raw drivers so they were functionally the same at that point. But there was a better line, definitely.

A major missplay I did: on the turn our life ends up at 31 (them) to 30 (me), in my head I included my arms in the block. But I didn't actually move them and just passed. Oops. This is critical in the Reviled matchup as it allows them to continue their value train.

I'll reveal their tech here, though. Imagine Money Where Your Mouth Is on a Conqueror of the High Seas for 11 go again destroy arsenal make gold on hit. When it gets blocked and you get gold, they steal it with an ally swing immediately after.

I ended up absorbing their negativity, feeling the worst I'd ever felt playing. Some of it is the Gravy matchup. A lot of it was an hour of the player's attitude and me being unable to deflect the negativity. It was early evening then, I guess I was tired.
