Try some latin series that might interest you, start with the subtitles in english and gradually some of the words will feel more familiar. Later on you can do that but with spanish subs to learn the writing. "Mr. Avila" is a decent HBO series from Mexico n case you need a tip for where to start.

Dunno if it was considered by the repair shop, but if the issue is with only with the driver's seat belt, maybe they can try to fit the passenger's one temporarily on it's place, so you can at least use the car alone while the parts doesn't arrive. Shortages are really sad. Best of luck!
