Someone here in CT whose Halloween displays are usually enjoyed by their community has been called out for this year’s Asylum theme that looks a bit too much like a concentration camp to some.

Found a green eyelet dress with puffy sleeves at the Salvation Army, a white eyelet pinafore apron, my old square dance petticoat & red shoes with a stuffed Toto in a basket. Was a cocktail waitress in the dining room. I was only nineteen. That in itself was probably enough though.🙄

Oh, lord! Now I’ve seen it all.🤦♀️ Although🤗 I have to admit that I chose to be Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz at a costume-themed restaurant I worked at in New Orleans. The costume was easy and I sang “ Somewhere Over the Rainbow” on occasion (not sure if it increased or decreased my tips!😝).

My son told me about him a while ago. He was very concerned about all of his young followers and that he would become an important political figure in the future-maybe even president. Everyone keeps talking about his open amiable debates while ignoring the other statements he’s made on SM & podcasts

I’ve always liked Cardinal Dolan, but like many people I’ve spoken to, he’s only seeing this good side of him and not the other bad side you see in podcasts and social media.

Yes! When I interviewed the location supervisor from “ Game of Thrones” for my magazine article, he said Locations had to hide their crew badges so people wouldn’t see them and follow them around to show up while they were filming. Also some original locations had to be changed because of tourists.

Yeah, that’s what I’ve been thinking, too. Have been a few times and maybe it’s a little corny, but felt patriotic while there. Feels like you’re in the seat of government, embracing all our history & proud to be an American. But most of all, celebrating our FREEDOM. Seeing that takes it all away :(

Yeah, that’s what I’ve been thinking, too. Have been a few times and maybe it’s a little corny, but felt patriotic while there. Feels like you’re in the seat of government, embracing all our history & proud to be an American. But most of all, celebrating our FREEDOM. Seeing that takes it all away :(
