Well that sucks. I’m not standing up for the Atlantic. And how trans people are treated in this country is repulsive. But I don’t see how we even begin to fix things if we can’t even communicate with people who are supposed to be on the same side.

Because she’s a great writer, and all this anger isn’t warranted, even if she “asked” for it. Bluesky is getting to be like all the other platforms. Just nasty. And I know, I know, I should just go put my head in an oven and die for wishing it weren’t so.

Yes. Most of your links are to FB & Twitter/X. I agree with most of what you say, I just really don’t see Sally Jenkins warranting the inclusion. And I would subscribe to your newsletter, but I’m old & poor.

I don’t understand why this is such a big deal—the article, not BWeiss & CBS. I read it last week, raised an eyebrow, and moved on. What about it is making everyone so angry?

My favorite movie. Alan Parker outdid himself. DK’s portrayal of depression was the most honest I’d ever seen on screen. I love Albert Finney so much too. This movie and Stanley Donen’s Two for the Road with Finney and Audrey Hepburn are devastating portraits of 20th Century marriage.
