Today’s walk was 8 miles. We are walking entire length of the Jordan River Trail (in Salt Lake City) broken up in chunks. Today we walked from West Jordan, through South Jordan and ended in Riverton. It hailed a small bit, and the wind was chilly. But it was a nice walk. Prep for the Camino Frances.

Our training walks for the Camino de Santiago are going along well. We are walking roughly 6 miles a day now with backpacks at 4300 foot elevation. No weight yet, but by end of month we should be there. Next month will be elevation gains with packs. 🤞

Today, my training to walk the Camino de Santiago in May/June/July got serious. 5 mile walk in 25 degrees. Last mile was tough due to tight hip muscles. I need more stretching. My planning is impeccable, it’s my implementation that sucks!
