One of my collaborations with The Artist found a new home. I made the bag from upcycled pillowcases from FabScrap (free because I volunteered) and straps left from another project. The Artist designed the decal she applied to the bag. SOLD (the artwork drew in the buyer)

To honor Juneteenth I voted. The civil war never ended and the confederacy seems to have taken over the federal government… for now. We can and will get them out and will create a more perfect union

Made a Korean dojang [seal/stamp]. Instead of my name, a stylized “love” in Korean and English. With Jeongju Kim of Feel So Good Calli in Seoul. She did the calligraphy so with my stamp the card says “Love is the Answer”… I use the stamp to remind myself of my vow to Love Always, no matter what

Lots and lots of steps to beautiful temples. Gorgeous views. The stinkiest hot springs I’ve been to yet in Japan. Sulphuric. Like rotten eggs mixed with rotten onions. Too bad I can’t share that part of the experience with you. Grateful to be able to explore this world

More wandering in the woods here and there. Still quite a bit of snow on the ground in the higher elevations even though the trees are green. Lots of warnings about aggressive bears. At an onsen hostel for tonight. I hope to soak for awhile

Some days I just feel like acknowledging and releasing my inner demons. Yukijin of Jigokudani. Noboribetsu Onsen-Cho. Hokkaido, Japan. A place to remind me of the nature of impermanence. No day but today. Live life now. Each moment is precious in its own way.
