Found these disgustingly adorable little creatures at Target today. Realizing that I’m in my fall/winter cozy kids fantasy story place. It explains the urge to reread His Dark Materials and The Wind in the Willows. Might do a reread of Zoey and Sassafras too.

On a whim, I started an abstract embroidery project this afternoon. Three hours later, Husband came to check on me because I was in a zone. I can safely say I think I have found a calling. Here’s what I’ve got so far:

I discovered a way to print a design onto fabric using a normal printer and now my mind is alight with all sorts of ideas.

Getting back into embroidery was the best idea I had this month. While I’m working on one of Hook, Line, and Tinker’s designs, I also started to plot out two original designs and it feels just right.

Husband and I saw The Holdovers today and let me tell you that my heart now absolutely belongs to these three.
