Yes. Streeting’s going in completely the wrong direction. Scrap the internal market, remove privatisation, rebuild capacity in the NHS. Sort social care.

And to those who say we can’t afford a decent NHS - can you afford private healthcare when you’re old and sick?

Every new Health Sec has an irrepressible urge to reorganise the NHS - one of the reasons that the govt’s only role in health should be to decide how much funding it gets (hopefully based on evidence and need, but hey). Then leave the experts to get on with it.
