In my family the young well educated outward looking have left for a better environment in which to raise their families - to get away from the constant negative of our media and the racism caused by Brexit.

My 2 ww1 grandads and 1 ww2 dad would never have expected my European son in law and subsequent grandchildren - my future is complex and mixed and I love them all - same thing - despite a decent local Mp I will probably never vote Labour again. An island of strangers? No - that’s my family.

I d like to see news and current affairs run by something like the Scott trust on our behalf and the commercial elements in a corporate all the profits from which go to support the news operation ( and maybe key national sporting events) with the addition of the licence fee.

If you employ a professional you shouldn’t need to double check they act in your best interest - it’s a given and what you pay for. At least that’s what my clients expected.

Agreed. The other issue is that as all the shows on a single day tend to address the same subject it gives a false hierarchy of relevance too.

If you make a complaint to one well known pension fund provider you cannot submit anything with punctuation in and get replies where random letters replace punctuation ( and the reply itself is incorrect). Not sustainable.

Following a hopeless sat nav experience trying to avoid Stonehenge I have resorted to a paper road atlas permanently. My family have a good laugh when they see it. My father used the AA planning service for long drives.
