Join me in living the Girl Scout Law. Today's section is "To help where I am needed." If I see a need I am capable of meeting, I will help, even when inconvenient. I will not wait for others to step forward; if opportunities to serve are not apparent, I will seek them. How will you help?

Last week’s section was “Honest and fair.” I promise not to lie deliberately, mislead others, or lie through omission. I will listen to and value others' concerns and include them in my decisions. Please also share your thoughts about how we can practice honesty and fairness in our daily lives.

Please join me in living the Girl Scout Law. For those of you unfamiliar, this “law” gives girls guidelines for good conduct, but its principles go beyond Scouting and transcend gender. For the next two months, I will focus on one section of the law each week.
