Highkey glad I discovered I was a system after high school but before college graduation.
I was super miserable when I discovered the others. I literally couldn’t do anything besides crying, sleeping, and gaming. I can’t imagine going through that as a teen or in the work force.

I can’t even use the excuse of “I was the first one to deal with flashbacks and discovered we were a system.” I feel guilty feeling refreshed coming out of dormancy, while Jury suffered alone for the last few months.

2026 will cause irreparable damage to me. With flashbacks becoming more frequent, and more alters coming out of dormancy, it’s only inevitable the painful part of healing happens.
I just pray it won’t be as bad as when we first started getting flashbacks.
