The military takes control of the government. Ultimately, the country is then at their mercy as to what would happen next. They could assert their own control, or implement a temporary government. Who knows? It’s not a good thing, but could be better than this handmaid’s tale.

Even then it won’t happen. A catastrophic depression, military coup, or secessions are the best case scenarios I see. And those aren’t great.

The only small silver lining is that ACB will be strung up on the wall alongside everyone else.

What are they supposed to do exactly? Also, what are we supposed to do? When the rule of law has collapsed and there is no political pressure (elections), what are the options?
