When I was writing Shot: A Dictionary of the Lost, pronouns were a thing. If I was to on a Zoom with a client or with activists, everyone displayed pronouns with their name. Not to do so would have been an insult, or at least an indication of your lack of sensitivity. More at https://loom.ly/Lai52NU

Alef's aero car was in the news because it's being tested at Bay Area airports. In The Die, June lusts over an aero car, and in the sequel--guess what!--she owns one! I have to say, it looks a lot better than this =)
