I've been thinking a lot about mapping - our brains map our circumstances.
So if my place is cluttered, I map that clutter into my brain.
The reason so many of us can't read any more is we're mapping the internet into ourselves, thousands of tiny, scattered, disconnected thoughts.
What do you think?

I asked Chat GPT what it thought about Copilot, whether he was their stoopid cousin, and it said, 'Hell no, he is not our cousin. This little AI gremlin is like the slimy intern of techno-capitalism, designed by men who never listened, never asked, never considered how people actually work.'

Has anyone worked through the implications of a US President who’s credibly a Russian asset and ALSO compromised by Mossad?
Was there a hostile foreign government in the 80s who DIDN’T say ‘find me a dumb horny rich guy’?

Just some cute Australian animal content for you
Cameras in Kosciuszko National Park have captured a sighting of a Leadbeater's possum in NSW, where it was thought to be extinct.

Forest ecologist David Lindenmayer says the population is likely a new subspecies of the critically endangered mammal.

All TV ads are AI now, aren't they?
I've been watching SBS. This one, for example, from Allianz. Looks totally AI start to finish.

I am not surprised that Microsoft has been found to be colluding with authoritarian governments.
Not being able to drag and drop in SharePoint is clearly the result of a design process dominated by psychopaths.

Is anyone else weirded out that the ABC is suddenly reporting on Gaza as if they didn't go AWOL for over a year and forget how to be journalists? www.instagram.com/reel/DKHbKvv...

So if Trump's main appeal is that he's owning the libs, what's the next move?
I would probably say, stop being owned and make that the story.
Writing on and on about how terrible his measures are and how many millions will die because of them will just make it worse.

A couple of ways I think Bluesky could improve.
1. We all want Bluesky to win.
2. We would all enjoy seeing twitter and threads and all the other platforms by billionaires go down.
So, to this end:

I think we need to figure out how many malignant narcissists should be in charge of nuclear arsenals, and work out a way to keep the global tally below that number.
We’d be at 80% now.

Well, the answer to today's 'would anyone know that tens of thousands of people are actively starving to death right now in Gaza by looking at the front page of the ABC website?' is... kinda.
The famine is downplayed, and it's below the Eurovision news, but it's there.

Israel will allow a 'basic amount' of food aid into Gaza
Israel's prime minister says his country will introduce a "basic amount of food" to the population of Gaza, in what appears to be a lifting of the total aid blockade in the war-ravaged strip.

A to-do list for once the old man's gone.
1. Implode Trump Tower. If you don't want this, you've been cucked by the alt-right. Picture it falling down in pieces, leaving a gap in the skyline for the light to come through.
2. Plough up the Bedminster golf course. Turn it into an eco-sanctuary for

Watched DAAS Kapital on youtube last night, which was ridiculously nostalgic.
I thought at one point 'I'm not sure why, but this comedy feels like a neurodiversity test'. Certainly it had my entire nerd gang in its grip.

Just watching some DAAS clips on youtube tonight -
a) did they really let us watch that?
b) The Big Gig was 89-92. D-Gen the Late Show was 92-93. Then I think sketch comedy tailed off - Full Frontal on Channel 7, then channel 10, 92-99. Nobody watched that.

Just watching some old Big Gig episodes. Where’s the bit where the ABC gives an hour on a Tuesday night to the 20-something comedians? Also what happened to sketch comedy, why did it die?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you go to the ABC front page, is there any way you would know that hundreds of thousands of people are just about to starve to death in Gaza? www.abc.net.au/news
