I do think it is a nostalgia tho, it is the nostalgia for a time when the future looked like that, and was inaccessible then.
It's not unlike, when you get older you might yearn for things you couldn't afford as a kid.

Honestly i would recommend against touching x (risk of rabies and whatnot) let alone post there.
But yeah i haven't been on there for years, it's quite shocking.

They don't want to pay for models, generating run of the mill images for commercials is pretty easy.
