I'd tell them about how I'm in love with the sketches of this not-yet-intoduced character from MonsterSoup who'd CLEARLY been raiding my closet, and then show them the comic.

If you miss Mont Blanc Bordeaux, besides Diamine Writer's Blood you might look at Noodler's Black Swan in Australian Roses. DWB is a very wet writer, and has a teensy bit of subtle bronze sheen, NBS is not so wet, and never sheens. Research pictures. In real life DWB is the darker of the two inks.
