As I ponder a move to Canada, I've thought about life in exile and Gonzalo Rojas came to mind. I studied with him at BYU where he lived in exile before the return of democracy to Chile. I am awed by his capacity to retain his sensitivity and fervor for life in the face of state brutality and loss.

Things are sooo busy with @tagqsf.org right now and there is indiscriminate destruction of institutions in progress but hey, I would still love for folx to read my book, Objetos de [des]amor, and Ingram is about to raise prices. Visit editorial.elinverso.com/objetos/ and get your copy now! 🌈📚

The Oregonian put the crowd estimate at 1,500–seemed like more (not from this spot). Portland can turn out bigger and rowdier protests but this was enough to come away feeling like today was a good start.

Yikes, February already! Not down with the heteronormative spectacle that is Valentine's Day? Objetos de [des]amor may be the book for you. It looks at absence and heartbreak through poetry and original darkroom photos. On sale during Feb! editorial.elinverso.com/objetos/ 🌈📚 #gayartist

My first royalty check came yesterday, $12.70! This only covers about 10 days during launch month, but memoir writing is an act of devotion, not greed. Know what? That's $12.70 more than I ever got from any of my academic publications. Get your copy from editorial.elinverso.com/objetos/! 🌈📚

Wow, 3 months have gone by since the release of my memoir! This work of poetry, prose, and photography is an expansion of my pre-retirement autoethnography work. Any Latinx/religion/queer scholars interested in writing a review? Let's talk! editorial.elinverso.com/objetos/ 🌈📚

I took a day off from film festival curating to finish a new lith print. ANSCO 70 mixed from scratch on Foma Retrobrom finally gave me a clear image with no splotching! Taken at Damon Point in Ocean Shores, WA.
