Fighting for a world in which human goodness can flourish.
I find it hysterical when fundamentalists claim the 'culture' or the 'enemy' is leading people astray when it's actually just their behavior alienating their own followers. They are their biggest enemies.

God, I hate the 'it's not my responsibility/there's nothing I can do' discourse. Stop being lazy and do something to make the world better, even if it's just for the old man you helped go up the stairs or the person you smiled to at the supermarket.

I find it really curious how the US is one of the only countries in the planet where luxury products and services are cheaper than the essentials. Looking from outside an iphone for a few hundred bucks looks like a great deal, until you remember the price of insulin.

Seeing people using AI here is so frustrating.

What's up with the rise of ageism lately? I'm seeing a bunch of people talking bigoted crap about old people in politics. Yes, we do need more young people in politics. We also need old people. Everyone should be represented, young or old, black, brown, white, asian or indigenous, queer or cishet.

I don't use AI to write my texts, emails or posts, I just read more than I talk to people. And I have social anxiety, so I proofread everything 500 times before I send. #convolutedbitchesexist

Trusting others is the most revolutionary thing one can do. Oppression thrives in alienation and the dehumanized perception of the 'other' is what leads to evil. Our fear of one another keep us from connecting and organizing ouselves to fight those who abuse us. The popular power is in the >popular<

Wandering through neocities pages is such an amazing experience. Every single website feels personal and fun, so different from the corporate hellscape internet became.

I really don't understand why people think educating children and even teenagers about sex is a taboo. As someone who grew up in the countryside, I knew that animals crossed to make babies and that didn't affect my development whatsoever. If anything it made puberty less scary.

Copyright laws were not designed to protect artists, they were designed to protect companies. Capitalism works on manufactured scarcity. The more of something there is, the less people will be willing to pay for it.
Meta pirated millions of books to train their AIs and nothing happen.

It's so delightful to see elderly queer people proudly living their lives. I imagine how hard it must have been for them, but they still made it. It reminds us of our staying power.

My plan for this year was to finish my novel, but I've only written 3 chapter so far(2 and a half to be fair). It's still more than 0 so I guess it's a win.

The most infuriating thing about the genocide in Gaza, beyond it happening in the first place, is how long it took for the rest of the world to stand up against it.

tl;dr: Bluesky began with genuine promise: a new social media platform where users could feel safer, but inconsistent moderation quickly eroded trust.

When systemically marginalized users pushed back, Bluesky’s leadership minimized concerns and began to target them for bans.

Seeing the whole thing with TikTok possibly receiving a US-Only platform just make me think of totalitarianism, by making it so that information from around the world doesn't get in the US, like China and North Korea, making it so that information can be controlled by the government.
