Is anyone attempting to create a formula-based method for drawing congressional districts that can be applied uniformly to all 50 State? The objective would be to avoid partisan manipulation while protecting fairness and minority rights. It would seem Machine Learning might be up to the task.

open.substack.com/pub/contrari... A toothless “Supreme” Court with very limited jurisdiction and term limits would be quite a legacy for Roberts, the self-described “institutionalist.”
Even Federal Court Judges Know the MAGA Justices are Out of Control
The Roberts Court makes obvious the need for serious reform

For those who attempt to understand root cause of our current political polarization, Melinda Cooper’s Counterrevolution: Extravagance and Austerity in Public Finance presents a compelling case for an orchestrated disrespect of the working class.

I have never seen anything like this in NYC. 5th Ave covered from 42nd St well to the 20s. Nobody prepared for this volume. Volunteers are holding the traffic on all the side streets. No police in sight. #handsoff

It's unfortunate that no one in the Trump Administration understands how the global reserve currency works. He's needlessly blowing up economies worldwide.

Trump had a plan to show the base his highly advanced negotiating skills ... and well, he made his point
Trump never had a peace plan for Ukraine. He had a plan for Ukraine's surrender, with a colonial resource grab. As Zelenskyy rightly refused it, or to cooperate in Trump's TV spectacular, the US has now cut Ukraine off.
That's what blackmail looks like.
That's what the world is up against.

What if Zelensky, when pressed to show some appreciation, said: ok ... ok ... I'll say it out loud again ... Thank you Joe Biden!, would things have changed much? Probably not.

Once an illegality has been identified and confirmed here in the US, make it known that Democrats will not vote for a continuing resolution in March when we technically "run out of money" until this illegality has been corrected.
Whenever anyone laments the state we’re in, they’re met with a chorus of “but what do we do?” As plenty of good options are available, this response might often be wilful impotence*.
I invite you all to nominate in this thread the best proposals and practices, around which we should gather. Thanks

In reference to progressive taxation and to those who argue that “he earned it, so he should be allowed to keep it”, please explain how Elon Musk should be allowed to take over the US Treasury Payment System because he earned the right to do so by virtue of his great wealth.

Absolutely. Grind it to a halt.
Murphy: "We need to act like a real opposition party in the middle of a constitutional and democracy crisis. That means we should not be moving forward nominees or legislation in the Senate. Ds should not be giving votes to nominee or legislation in the Senate until Rs get serious about this crisis"
