Not standards exactly but a few tracks that appear to be from others like Davis and Gillespie. Begins with one of them just doing a Bela Lugosi impression improv and then they get to jamming in 8 to 12 minute tracks for the rest of the album which is just 5 tracks.

A Pyrrhic Victory. Happy to hear you found something, but that sucks to hear about the writing.

Put a moustache on it and call it Memento Movember.

I'm finding this to be the case for Steely Dan and Moody Blues lately. I feel like my younger self is rolling his eyes so hard at me now 😅.

Huh. Casting unknowns as the leads is the best move they could've done so I'm already impressed so far.

Watched this video earlier today. A lot of interesting ideas for why things sometimes feel "off".

Okada comes to mind. Born to goof off, but pushed to be the best.

Interestingly, from the book, the one who made things difficult for the production was Matthew Broderick and his mother. They've made up since then and he apologized. But still, real mama's boy behavior and wanted his own cut of the movie too.

Not many can live up to the crazy that is Toni Storm 😂.

That's right! I forgot Rogue is also Aisha.

Watched it much more than the original. Good example of sequel being better than the first entry.

Same. I even liked Romulus too, but it definitely felt chained to nostalgia in a way Alien: Earth did not. Badlands felt like a good expansion on everything that came before. I thought I would even hate the cutesy/snarky sidekick, but they made it work.

This feels like an illegal amount of game pieces. There's so much going on here 😭.

I really need to see what I've been missing on Webtoon someday.

Most I ever had for a job was 7 interviews but it was mostly because I was new to the industry in a front of house position and they wanted to be absolutely sure of me. But 19? I don't know what more they were looking for.
