Help!!Who has calculated ApacheIV scores? u are suppsed 2 take worst lab initial 24 hrs.
Ex.Floor pt has Cr 3.0@4am. Admit to ICU@6am. Cr@8pm is 2.6
Which Cr to use?
What if in ED@4am w/3.0 & admit 2 ICU@6am? Same?
And "24 hrs" stop at MN or regardless of calendar day?

Looking 4 some help. Anyone explain diff btwn APACHE IV and APACHE IVb? What is most validated for predicted mortality? And are there any calculator for IVb? (Im aware of the calc for IV on the web. #EMIMCC #pulmsky #medsky @imcrit.bsky.social
