And yes, I do think there has always been gambling but now we have better detecting systems. Yes, there’s more now that it’s easily accessible but that’s not the issue. The issue is players cheating. I think we’ll see a bunch of it initially (like we are) and then guys will see it’s not worth it.

Yes, we agree there is more gambling happening now that gambling is legal. My argument was that the blame continues to be on the betting sites and not the cheaters themselves. As if they can’t resist because there’s commercials and sponsorships now.

Don’t you think the mechanisms they have in place in the apps are helping them catch the cheaters? That maybe there has always been cheating but now they have a way to catch them?

I disagree. I think he’s had a good enough career that this isn’t what I think of first or even second when he’s mentioned. I hope this is the case, too. He doesn’t deserve to be remembered as a mistake Nico made.
