New orchid pots! I do these in a speckled buff clay that I leave unglazed except for the flowers. Orchids love them (lots of drainage that you can’t see) AND you have something to look at when they are dormant!

The peppers came out of the fire, and they still crack me up. #artsky #ceramicarts #pottery

It’s so dry that dozens of local honeybees (must be a hive somewhere!) are trying to drink out of the pool. I’m life guarding. I’ve pulled out eight so far,

I took a couple of months off from creating much #pottery, at one point wondering if I’d even go back. I’m back, doing some Bohemia-inspired work from antique pots out of Turn Teplitz in Austria. #artsky #ceramicart

These are 6”, hand built in raw porcelain clay.

Started hand building another #ceramicart pepper … I feel like this elevates your #charcuterie game to conversation piece 😎

Hey #artsky!! New ceramic pieces! Changed up the red glaze on my "Persephone Vase", and I like the deeper color. Then created these little 2.5" catchers for used tea bags. (What are they called, anybody?!) #ceramicarts #pottery

Having one right now, and they are great. Highly recommend added some kind of dried fruit, currants, raisins, cranberris.

A Francis Bacon treatment would better capture the full, unbridled horror of this appointment.

Welp, got the flu which made me pick up a book I bought last year. Highly recommend for all those who imagine a different America dream that is not defined by capitalism, white nationalism and racism. #bethechange

Two of my favorite decorative schemes were inspired by fabric. My bright yellow pieces derive from a blouse that Lupita Nyong'o wore for her 2019 #NYTimes interview; and I've used a #Kenzo line for my poppy designs.

Annnnddddd, this is what happens when the kiln fires too hot. The unglazed clay part would normally be a speckled buff that would contrast more with the glazed elements. Do you think it's saleable, or naw? Yes, that's a toothpick holder, LOL. #ceramicart #pottery

This is a prototype that I thought I might do a few of for the upcoming regional #strawberry festival: 8" footed plate with handpainted design. I'm kind of digging it. Thoughts, feelings? #ceramicart #pottery
