Respectfully, that's not how these large attorney generals offices work. The attorneys who work on the trans kid lawsuit are not the same as those who would be bringing this lawsuit too. The offices are large and attorneys specialize in different areas.

Trans kids being free from discrimination is important. Also, there is more than 1 attorney working for the State of California, so they can file more than one lawsuit at a time. It's not like this is in anywhere taking away from their efforts elsewhere.

Fun fact. A state can do more than one thing at a time. Imagine telling trans kids their ability to participate in sports like all other kids is "not a priority."
