In my defense, at that time, I was balancing caring for my wife (lots of RA & IBS flares), looking after my in-laws who were having major health issues, and shepherding my fencing club into a major growth phase.
I didn't have the spoons to keep up.

I wasn't surprised that Alito's reasoning was so off on this, his opinions have gotten rather "odd" and political lately. Was surprised the Gorsuch signed on to it.

I missed that it was rare disease day. One terrible aspect of suffering from one is it tends to be blamed for any abnormality. My wife passed away from cirrhosis of the liver (chemotherapy side-effect) that was missed as symptoms were attributed to her auto-diseases.

The Verizon contract is for 2.4B over 5 years to replace/update communications systems and operate them. It was awarded in Mar 2023.

He did finally correct himself. It's the old system by L3Harris (which is truly ancient) that's limping along. The new Verizon system is not online.

I admit I enjoy reading your take on legal shenanigans. But I would only ask your take if you chose to do the analysis. Eg not my place to ask (or demand as some do).

Though if you liked doing them, I wonder if those people would actually subscribe & pay via Substack/Patreon
