Oh yeah the ecological debate is a whole other can of worms. At the same time it's also disheartening having to use that argument because it's so hard to convey the human/artistic/philosophical crisis this whole issue creates.

I agree but at the same time I believe it's up to everyone in the cutural and artistic fields to demonstrate that bad art/music/film/etc isn't bad because it's not vibing with burgeois standards. There's a ton of literature on this topic already and we have to up our communication skills.
