The heat wave continues.

My art is largely graphic. I'm not a great painter. Generally nudes or wildlife, especially birds and insects. A current project is a set of 12 drawings of birds from North East India. So far I've done five, of which these are three, parakeets, kingfishers and stilts. All in coloured pencil.

A recent pencil study, using a single, 1B graphite pencil. This limits the tonal range you can achieve, but simplifies the whole process.

Perfect sailing weather, even though it's only May.
