A few years ago, I found this bunny in the mud by the side of the road. They are missing an eye. We call them Sinister Bunny. Yesterday I made them an eye patch.

Yesterday I bought a locally published book of walks based around a particular train line. The £2.50 was worth it for this bit alone "The signpost suggests you can go straight... Not true!! Don't go straight on!"

One of our local pubs has had a power cut tonight. They are open and busy. We're having a lovely time.

Early morning visit to Greggs and I brought my #knitting 🧶 I'm very quickly catching up on squares of a temperature blanket. Purple is cold (0-4 Celsius), and dark blue is quite cold (below zero Celcius.) For day 13 I get to add a lighter blue (5-9 Celcius.) Exciting stuff!

My mom is a crafts enabler. While visiting over New Year she talked about her plans to make a temperature blanket. Here I am starting to knit my own. The yarn arrived yesterday.

My great-grandmother was a very active suffragist and Socialist. In 1924 she ran for a seat on the Pennsylvania State Congress. Every time I vote I think of her and all the other women in my life.

Working in an office where we need to be 'dressed appropriately in case of show arounds' means I wear boring things. Today's style: black trousers, teal sleeveless blouse, grey wool cardigan with 3/4 length sleeves. Most of this was thrifted.

I'm learning to use an older dslr camera. The hardest part right now is remembering to take it with me when I go out. Anyway, I'm happy with this photo of giraffes from the wild animal park yesterday.
