I wasn't sure how I felt about it. There're definitely downside risks for the broader community and democracy if it leads down certain paths.

In the US most of these new data centres are being powered by gas turbines (jet engines) because the electricity infrastructure cannot keep up. They’d need something like 30 new nuclear power stations in the next 5 years just to meet projected demand given the fund raising currently.
