They're only trying to gain favor from voters who will *never* vote for them. I mean, why go Fascist Light when you can vote for the real thing?

Democrats need to appeal more their base instead of resenting them. The votes will follow.

I'm slowly starting to regain some pride in being an Iowan.

I fully expect to not be married to my husband of 15 years by this time next year. People don't think fascism can happen here, but it's already happened. It showed up waving an American flag and a cross necklace, convincing people that bad is good and that equality is a form of oppression.

A sane country would've already taken up "2nd Amendment remedies" to deal with a tyrant and his political cult.
