One development that has come about for me recently this year is my discovered love of a baked sweet onion. I’m currently obsessed. It’s worth noting that this is coming from someone who previously did not like onions at all.

For thirteen days, I’ve researched the history, theologies, and testimonies of Quakerism in general. On paper, I’m a quaker; I just didn’t know I had a tribe out there with a name. It’s soul-satisfying to discover a spiritual society that includes christians on this level of spirituality & morality.

I’ve long been on a “less is more” tick. First, it was small cars, then: small towns, tiny houses, owning less, stripping my music & desiring a wardrobe of a simple repeated look. Now, my spirit has found Quakerism and a bible edition that inspires me to finally read one (it) from start to finish.

I’ve worked exclusively with acoustic guitar on my music for the past few years, stripping all songs down to the bone, falling in love with raw acoustic guitar in the process. My appreciation of Memphis Minnie’s music deepened and a Fortnite emote (guitar walk) led me to diving into Chuck Berry’s.

My avatar is a picture of myself drawn by a (then) patient at work. I keep all of the coloring sheets and drawings that they give me. I still bring chips on Sundays. I figured that explaining the history behind my chosen avatar would be a nice way to break in posting here on this platform.
