The other night, my youngest walked down the hall behind the kitty, arms up, asking her for a goodnight hug.

One of the cutest things I've seen my kids do.

Got invited to a BAND app group...and discovered BAND has "Stories".

The "everything app" cancer is so real 😅

>We've increased the character limit to 299!

Wonder what they're budgeting that 300th character away for. 🤔

Tried Blueprint by Shift for the first time recently. Awesome package for quick scaffolding!

At the same time, I also got to learn not to list any models that already exist—or at least make sure they're in git first. 😅

Why is it always hard to tell if your boys are having fun or killing each other? 😅

Hmm... Might actively start using this term to refer to *not* riding the Hype Train. 😎
Welcome to the open road! 🫡

Ok, deciced to send in a feature request for this. I'm getting more and more used to doing just keyboard nav. Less mouse ftw 😎
Can't wait for keyboard nav to get better over here. I'm getting really used to apps going to the search bar with `/` and using `g <letter>` shortcuts for different things like...

`g h`: home
`g s`: search page
`g n: notifications
`g p`: profile

Sounds like an extension of the "what we design" vs. "what users want" problem. We probably are moving towards a single conversational interface after all.
Why does it feel like MCPs are literally replacing websites? They’re basically becoming the new front-end, while apps probably will be just APIs for these conversational layers.

Just hearing Pennsylvania might be getting 6 ft of snow in some parts.

1 of my childhood dreams right there: being able to dig snow tunnels.

WP theme/plugin devs, I am begging you, PLEASE set your local env to development:
```
define('WP_ENVIRONMENT_TYPE', 'development');
```
I try to do this myself for dev, but I often can't because even large plugins are still passing `null` to PHP functions that require a string.

So nice to just have "following" again. Forcing both feed types felt like short-term engagement farming.

When Facebook first did that, it was more addictive at first, but it got really boring. Posts started repeating across multiple days, content became repetitive...

Really need to finish auto-posting from my blog to Mastodon and BlueSky (or let go of Mastodon since the PHP crowd is coming over here 🤔)

Time, why you so small? 🫠

Mobile app seems to be getting smoother (or maybe I'm adjusting to the quirky gestures).

Starter packs and moderation lists are cool ideas.

Still wish I could mute from a post's dropdown menu. I would think having to go to someone's profile first would be a positive signal to the algo.

Wonder what people do when they get an intense creative itch and they don't have time to scratch it

I've always wondered this about X, but now I'm wondering if it's the same on Bluesky.

If you visit a profile to mute it, do you ironically end up making the algo think you want to see content from similar accounts?
