Shit got medieval.

I made Potatoes Boulangère to go with some Steak, parsnip and carrot mash and roasted shallots my father in law got at a farm shop.
First time cooking something wildly outside my skill set in a while, and I'm feeling pretty good about it.

She's thick this year

Got a friend's potluck tomorrow, and this is the first time in a while I've cooked for a vegan crowd. Made some adjustments for Dishoom's House Black Daal, and it's worked an absolute treat.
