The National Museum of African American History and Culture includes an exhibit on civil rights activism during WW2. As one protest sign from that era reads: "Race Discrimination Breeds Fascism." Visit the NMAAHC while you still can, before this administration purges it of "improper ideology." (4/4)

Earlier this month, President Trump issued a full or partial ban on travel to the US for citizens of 19 majority Black and Brown countries. Today, instead of a Juneteenth greeting he sent a social media message that began "Too many non-working holidays in America." (3/4)

Juneteenth is a good day to talk about the National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) in Washington DC, which is part of the Smithsonian Institution. It's an amazing place - highly recommended and frankly a must-visit for all Americans. (1/4)
