I know nobody uses the #macos News app, and apparently #apple knows it, too, because here's what happens when you resize the window in Tahoe. It hides all content and doesn't show it again until you release the mouse button.

With every new #macos release, I hopefully open the News app to see if #apple has finally given it *any* kind of attention since it debuted as a catalyst app in Mojave in 2018 -- and every year I'm disappointed, but not surprised.
A maximized News.app window in macOS Tahoe. Six news cards are visible — two large ones at the top, and a row of four smaller ones at the bottom. Each card is a 4x3 image, a headline, a date, and a source logo. It’s a thoughtless, half-assed layout.

Apple Intelligence’s Visually Similar search uses Google, and it’s impossible to change this. It doesn’t obey Safari’s default search engine setting.
Search for visually similar images You can use visual intelligence to search for items similar to those around you. 1. Click and hold the Camera Control (on supported models), or use an alternate option. 2. Point your iPhone camera at an object in front of you. 3. Tap • to search for similar images. 4. Tap * to close the search results, then swipe up from the bottom of the screen to close visual intelligence. Note: Subject to your search provider's terms of use and data privacy policies.

Hey they fixed this awful contrast to an extent. The button hierarchy still needs work however.

This is just excellent, excellent UI design
A dark mode macOS dialog with the buttons “Save” (white on teal), “Don’t Save” (red on medium gray), and “Cancel” (white on medium gray). “Don’t Save” is barely legible. The buttons are stacked vertically and are the same width.
