It would certainly make things easier but Europe needs to get its shit together and decide how far they're willing to go to support Ukraine first and those countries like Hungary who would rather do nothing should be frozen out of any discussions

They want it frozen but with concessions from the US and Europe in regards to sanctions. A frozen conflict with sanctions in place would benefit Ukraine more than Russia

There are plenty of good and decent people on Twitter and there's plenty of lies and propaganda here. The issue with Twitter is it exists to promote whatever Elon thinks via arbitrary moderation and behind the scenes promotion of specific political views

Russia's economy is at a tipping point and Trump's sudden wish to "end the war" is in line with the Steele Dossiers claims about cultivating Trump to ease Ukraine-related sanctions. That was in 2016 and things have only gotten worse since then.

The USA has already said Europe will not be a part of negotiations, I'm not sure what that means in a practical sense because Russia will want easing of sanctions and I think that's Russia's main goal, secondary being keeping Crimea.

Historically calls for a "European Army" have meant an integrated one under a separate command structure than individual countries' rather than a more standardised way to conduct joint operations.

Trump is just incapable of understanding that the question "What can the US get out of this?" is not always answered in terms of money or resources. He's squandered something you can't buy: the US' credibility in terms of honouring treaties and agreements. He doesn't understand long term interests

People don't even want to pick desktop/window manager to use before they download the install image. Linux does have a lot of choices but you're either taking time to learn and make an informed choice, or happier without even being asked and given either because you're not interested in the workflow

Why would the war end if Ukraine gives USA resources? Clearly the USA could end the war right now, it doesn't need the minerals to do so. But what about giving Ukraine all it's territory and people back? This emphasis on "ending" the war is getting tiresome. The ceasefire itself has no value for Ukr
