The Arsenal! Lifelong fan.
I could see why Arteta chose that line up. He wanted to gain control of the game, avoid Liverpool’s washing machine at Anfield, and limit Liverpool’s attacking prowess. He succeeded in all of them. What was lacking was cutting edge at the top. Madueke created a couple of decent chances by his direct

I am taken aback by the level of analysis of Arsenal’s loss v Liverpool by pundits. It makes me question whether I have watched the same match as they have. I have seen Arsenal’s performance described as embarrassing, poor, cowardly etc. And same from some Arsenal fans too. They should be the ones

My headlines for yesterday’s match. No words required

Look we weren’t great at all, far from it. But I take the 1-0 result especially given our recent record at Old Trafford. That’s 2 more points than we got last year. However, I would have wanted us to be braver. Saka, Martinelli and Madueke were too far back to effect any attacking play

Can’t wait for this afternoon’s match. I must say I am both excited and anxious for this season. We have a great side, capable of winning the big prizes. But I always have a nagging feeling that the season might not pan out as we as supporters wish. I will support the team throughout the season

Six years away from the Champions League

Second season in a row in the competition that defines the biggest teams and careers, and reaching semis

If you don't see #Arsenal's progression is because you don't want to

Proud of the team today. Fine margins went against us again - the story of the season. Time now to lock champions league football again for next season. The transfer window has to be proactive and go and fill those gaps which we all know. I am confident that next season will be much better.

The first 30 minutes had me really worried. Arsenal were just chasing shadows and looked shell shocked after conceding. Credit to the players as they fought themselves back into the game. Scandalous decision on the Saka steal that was called up as a foul. That could have changed the game.

A tight game with Arsenal just about in the tie. We had our moments but weren’t clinical enough. On current form PSG are the better side; Arsenal having a very thin squad doesn’t help at all. It will be a momentous night if Arsenal were to overturn the result and get to the final.

I have been following Arsenal and watching practically all their games either on TV or live for close to 50 years now. Yesterday's game ranks as one of the best matches I have ever seen Arsenal play given the environment it was played and the status of the tie. They played with such personality,

Declan Rice has just written himself into the history books of Arsenal. What a player!

Oh WOW!

Intense match. Arsenal need to take their chances as we know that Real Madrid can just score out of nothing. Great atmosphere at the Emirates. The fans have really turned up today! It’s very loud!

Thought this match was a mirror of our season. Clearly the better team but allowed Chelsea to come into the game when we should have strangled them when we were on top. Hopefully Saka will be available next match. That may give us the unpredictability in our attack again.

Deservedly in front but concerning that we have let Chelsea dominate possession in the last 10 mins. Need to be more aggressive in looking for possession and taking the ball back into Chelsea’s half as they are not very defensively sound starting from the keeper. Time to find that 2nd goal

My view of the game tonight. Should have won the game but for 2 errors leading to their goals. Zinchenko and Rice were the pick of the team. Kudos to Sterling for his 2 assists but he did fade away badly at the end. Kudos too go to PSV’s support which was incessant even though result was what it was

Edge of the seat game. We were the better team but they had the better chances. Martinelli gave us some more directness with Odegaard playing more freely. Rice and Raya were brilliant even though the latter’s positioning for the free kick was suspect. Defensively we didn’t have our A game either.

And that’s why Premier League sides play a low block against Arsenal. Give them some space and they will take you to the cleaners even with no strikers.

A super performance by Arsenal. Odegaard found his mojo again and Rice had his best game in a while. Nwaneri’s goal was a sizzler and Calafiori the defender just does Calafiori things. A shoutout also to PSV’s suicidal tactics #COYG

A rubbish game today. The team looked anything but energized. But injuries have decimated our season. Have done well up to now to remain “thereabouts” in the title race. However am now concerned whether we can keep some momentum to retain a top 4 spot. If not, then that would be a disaster!
