And that’s the fun thing with Marvel continuity - there are writers that won’t take it seriously, but another may come afterwards to fix those “bugs” and so it becomes a project in which everyone can collaborate.

1978 - …but Roy Thomas takes that small detail and later that year creates the whole Thor Annual #7 around the concept of properly introducing the Eternals to the Marvel Universe and, for some reason, also to explain that as not being a contradiction.

1978 - the Eternals is cancelled with #19, and so this is not discussed by Kirby again…

1977- in Eternals #18, Kirby contradicts himself, having Druig (son of Valkin) say Ikaris is Valkin’s nephew, not his son (and thus Druig’s own brother)
