For sure, and even setting aside quality (hard to do because I will die on the hill that the Rise of Skywalker is absolutely the worst of them), I think dilution might play a role even if the content remains good. There's just So Much of it now.

I was a child, and I think I was content to gawk at the settings, but there is a shard of a memory, I think genuine, of being bored during one of the early meandering conversations over trade routes.

If you view the Party's leadership through this lens—an insular group of elites playing status games and to whom politics is merely incidental—a lot of its "incoherence" dissolves. The mistake is viewing the Democratic leadership as leading a "party" in the first place.

Setting aside academic debates about judicial review / separation of powers, I really do think it’s important to be clear about Bove’s lack of suitability for any position of power, including and especially that of a federal judge.
