Currently doing research on the general area of Harris County, and I never realized how many interesting names there were. Airline, Texas just has a weird ring to it.

Delaware was disputed between Pennsylvania and Maryland, so it decided to go its own way. Rhode Island was settled by people exiled from Puritan society. These are valid reasons to exist, so riddle me this: It’s the 21st century; do we really need two Dakotas, two Carolinas, and two Virginias?
