True, it won't solve the problem itself. That said, pretty much every well functioning system I'm aware of, in regions with decent population size, have a distinct authority.

A full crown corp system like Translink is a long way off, unfortunately. But there is now a CRD transport arm, which is promising but inadequate for the moment we are in.

Within the federal level. Invoked by Parliament. Federal law has no way of impacting provincial jurisdiction like this.

I am just revelling in how bluesky right now is like walking into a friendly neighbourhood coffee shop and seeing some friends. Twitter for the last little bit has been like the Granville strip at 3 a.m. with a scary amount of coke and meth and men who just want to scream at you.
