The nonprofit that I work for is among the many organizations that are scrambling to maintain programs and staff and pay the bills in the face of frozen federal funds. Any support would be appreciated.

IBP staffers will be participating in 24 different Nat'l. Audubon Christmas Bird Counts this year! Who do you think will see the greatest # of species in a single count location? (Participants in multiple counts can't combine species totals.) Reply w/ your guess & we'll share the results in Jan. 🪶

Last weekend’s bird science – a cooperative Canada Goose let me walk around him to read his band number. He is at least 6 years old and banded in 2018 ~ 1000 miles north on his breeding grounds along Hudson Bay!
