My new camper build is almost ready to commence. Design sorted and trailer bought. It's going to be a rear fold soft floor design to fit better on regular caravan sites.

Well the latest firmware update for the Seestar has totally stuffed my S50! It now can't find anything using goto! What is the use of that! I am not happy and it better be fixed soon!

First time using a flip mirror for videoing the Moon. It is so much easier centering the Moon with this. Why didn't I get one earlier!

Well our first astro camp of the year did not happen due to another extreme rain event. Yesterday (Saturday) was pouring but woken up this morning to blue skies. Really crazy weather!

Sad day, I have just relinquished control of the South East Queensland Astronomical Society's Facebook page after many years of being the admin. Things are changing in the club and not all for the better either.

I finally got some more time with the Eta Carina nebula with my Seestar S50. This time it was 45 minutes of 10 second exposures in mosaic mode. I am quite happy with the result.
