I thought I understood what you meant originally, but I get it! Besides, in order to get to Legacy Year 15 I have to nail the dozen, the baker’s dozen and 14 first 🙂

A dozen?! While noble, I’m thinking a little bit higher, most notable at least Legacy Year 15…and most likely they’ll announce Legacy Year 20 milestone, and so on 🙂

What a tease. I heard of a story of a guy that won $100k on a scratch off his friend gave him immediately. When the guy looked to see where to redeem it, it said “At yo mama’s house.” 😂

Be careful of that last part…I feel like that’s a huge reason of how “No Country For Old Men” started, and it didn’t exactly end well for the guy that found the cash 😂

Thank you! Glad I didn’t disappoint. I already signed up for next year, so Year 12 here I come!

Hopefully it does! By St. Louis’ turnout alone I think it would do well anywhere.

I told you last week I was going to finish the St. Louis Hot Chocolate Run for the 11th straight year, and I did! Did better than I thought since I haven’t ran since last STL HC Run. 🙂 #RunChat

I already mentioned I found $20…as greedy as this sounds I wouldn’t complain if I found more 😂 I also found a portapotty when I needed to go mid run, so that was really nice #RunChat

Yes, I’ve altered it, but not my choice. One instance I had some people in huge trucks act obnoxious and probably would have retaliated even further when I called them out on their awful driving. Another one a dog nipped me, and the owners didn’t apologize, so I took a longer way home 😡 #RunChat

I passed by a church that still had its marquee message board up advertising “Go Fly a Kite Day.” If you know what the alternative meaning of that phrase is, it’s not nice. When I saw it I was struggling with my run, but seeing it motivated me to finish strong, which I did 😂 #RunChat

I tend to leave it. Who knows where it has been or how long it has stayed there. Funny you bring this up…I saw a bunch of stray clothing during the St. Louis Hot Chocolate Run today #RunChat

Returning to my hometown to continue my then journalism career I got to see my hometown in a new light when I ran through it for the first time #RunChat

I found $20 on the ground. Of course I slowed down so I could get it and blow it on a video game the next day 😂 #RunChat

It’s all good…hopefully by this time next week I’ll be ready to brag about finishing the St. Louis Hot Chocolate Run for the 11th straight year! #RunChat

Running ruins your knees. Even if true, my body will wear down with age anyway, so might as well make it count #RunChat

I should probably do some light weightlifting to help me out. Otherwise I’ll walk #RunChat

I started with Brooks Adrenaline and Brooks Glycerin, and I feel like those shoes have been the best overall. I should have deviated from them. I will say I refuse to go with Hoka Cliftons again, especially when my last pair would make my right foot go numb mid run, then go back to normal #RunChat

Not one specific, but I’ve had a few that helped me get better faster #RunChat

Not so much a sign, but I wish I would have taken a rest week before my last injury. I went from 10-15 miles a month if that to all of a sudden doing 100 miles during the summer of 2023…I should have known there would be consequences at some point 🤦🏻‍♂️ #RunChat

I’m late on this due to fatherhood obligations, so here I go!

I feel like my right knee issue from overtraining. Fortunately one of the few perks of stepping away from running due to fatherhood is that my knee is healed, so at least I’ll return healthy #RunChat
