And neither are Herrs Drumpf und Musk, in spite of what they say. The cuts they’ve made are 1) socially impactful but financially insignificant compared to the enormity of gov’t spending (less than 1%) or 2) don’t represent any net reduction in expenses. Oh!—and they’re spending mo’ money elsewhere.
